A six-star service can only happen when the crew has the proper accommodations to rest, recover and fuel the high-end expectations of the luxury guest. For this, ALMACO will deliver 109 crew cabins, the crew mess room, several crew recreation areas, a crew gym, offices, lockers, corridors and stair cases.

Additionally, to help support the adventurous spirit of the expedition ship guest while keeping the luxury feel of the Crystal Cruise experience, ALMACO will deliver very high-end changing or mud rooms with seven-star finishes.

The project is to be done in steel-to-steel principle and includes background outfitting, cabin installation, partial public areas delivery and crew public area delivery. The engineering coordination for the background systems is performed by ALMACO as well as the full interior detail design.

Jussi Laimi, ALMACO’s Accom-modation Systems Division Vice President, states “It is a great honor to have ALMACO take part in such a luxurious vessel and contribute towards delivering one of the highest-standard expedition vessels world has yet seen.” Eric Guiot, ALMACO’s Project Manager, adds “This project is challenging and together with our partner, MV Werften, we will put forth our full energy and expertise to make this one-of-a-kind vessel a great success for all parties involved.”

Built to PC6 polar class specifications, the vessel will operate globally, from the Arctic areas to the Tropics, offering passengers luxury expedition cruises.
